Hello 2021!
Happy (Belated) New Year everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. The new president and the release of the COVID-19 vaccines has given me hope that 2021 will be a MUCH better year than 2020.
Since I last wrote, I’ve picked out my new headshots (with help from my agent and a casting director) and here they are:

Since I last wrote, I’ve picked out my new headshots (with help from my agent and a casting director) and here they are:
I don’t love them all, but each look is a different type of character. Long gone are the days where an actor had one black and white headshot. And my agent still likes two from my previous headshot session so, I’ll still be using those as well.
My work as a standardized patient has picked up quite a bit – both via Zoom and in-person. It isn’t the most exciting acting work, but it is important work. I never thought I’d be able to work as an actor from home, but I am. And because I am a standardized patient, I was able to get both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. I am VERY grateful for that opportunity. However, curiously I can still infect others, so I’m wearing a mask anytime I am not at home. I hope you do too.
I have been cast as a single mother in recovery with issues for an online video educational series. This series will be mandatory viewing by all 3000 employees of the Dept. of Children’s Services in my state. I’m not sure how many “modules” of this educational series there will be, but I believe it will be at least ten. We’ve shot the first module and will continue to shoot throughout the spring.
And, finally – I’M IN ANOTHER HORROR FILM!! I’m only in one scene but I was thrilled to be asked to be in it. I play a furniture store manager who fires the lead. We shot in a HUGE furniture store full of cheap furniture. In fact, the place seemed so yucky that I changed in my car in the parking lot rather than use the furniture store restroom. The director, Aaron Mirtes, is someone I always enjoy working with. The film’s working title is PAINTED IN BLOOD. So, the premise is fairly obvious….
